No. The reason she’s a clown in that family is purely because she keeps getting treated like one and because readers expect victims like her to do all the emotional labour in the relationship (also known as appeasing or giving into her abusers) even though these same readers are so vehemently against victims going back to (again, aka appeasing) abusers in all other circumstances, all while expecting none from the pos ML. The reason because the FL is a clown is because the writer of this story is a moron and he cant do shit right without trow useless and random drama left and right, you know, when someone is inept on develop a story and character he do that…. for the glory of drama…..
