I may be overly optimistic, but the last panel doesn’t necessarily mean that ml and fl are dead. If we see the related panel in “Flower not in full bloom”, he spoils her effortlessly,so a fun-uncle type, and it is never mentioned whether they are dead or alive, it is kind of an open ending, and those lines also can be in context of their daughter and Robbie. “President’s guide to dote on his wife” also has similar ending, with their child’s meeting with his love. So, I chose to be optimistic about that. It does not need to be a tragic ending.
